Precious Beginnings curriculum is based upon the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori.  Each child is recognized as an individual, with varying abilities, needs and interests.  Our child-centered program satisfies and appeals to the needs of each child, rather than a static curriculum that every child must follow at the same pace.  The Montessori concept is unique in its ability to meet the needs of the developing child, to stimulate the cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative stages of development. 

Our classrooms serve the needs of children between infant to kindergarten, allowing the flexibility to work with children at the academic level that's right for them. 

At all levels, our teachers spark a child’s curiosity, encourage critical thinking and instill within children a joy for life-long learning.

Our programs for infants, toddlers, primary and elementary age children are conducted in a warm, loving, nurturing environment, where Montessori teachers and caregivers invest in your child.  

Infant rooms feature bright, airy interiors designed to stimulate with toys and materials that encourage hand / eye coordination and cognitive ability.  

Toddlers learn about practical life, begin their studies and play indoors and out.  

Primary and elementary children follow the curriculum outlined at each level.  All children are taught gently how to solve problems amongst themselves with a teacher serving as mediator.

Our son has been in the Precious Beginnings Montessori Program from 12 months of age, starting in their Infant Room through to his current placement in the Toddler Room.  We cannot begin to express how pleased we are with our choice to enroll our son and of our experiences thus far.  The entire staff demonstrates incredible levels of passion and professionalism that are rarely seen, if not absent, from the current education system.  They are compassionate, respectful, courteous, dedicated and completely genuine in their concern for the overall well-being and high standard of education of the children.
